A Whole Lot of Me...

First of all, I have exciting news!! I was featured on For the Love of Blogs today for my Look Book post last week! Thank you so much ladies. Their project on featuring bloggers for their hard work is inspiring. If you aren't a part of their pledge, sign up now! You won't regret it!

Okay. Now for the "whole lot of me" part. It has been about a million years (give or take a few) since I have done a Wear it to Work post. So, I thought I would play a little catch up! Needless to say I am a lot of days behind. So get ready for a lot of face time with yours truly!
{Dress: Local Boutique}
There is a boutique right down the street from my work, and it has the cutest clothes and is crazy affordable. I literally have to stop myself from going there after work everyday. Love the prairie feel to this dress, and the fun bird pattern. I am not a big pattern girl, but I like to branch out every once and a while.
{T-Shirt: Target   Vest: Local Boutique}
You have no idea I have been looking for a crochet long vest! I finally found the perfect one in Pacific Beach the other weekend, and I just had to buy it. I don't think there is anything better then buying something you have had your eye on for a while.
{Sweater: Urban Outfitters   Glasses: Ray Ban}
So the right side of my head never curls as well as the left side of my head. I have my good days, but most days it just looks like a mismatched mess, and I am forced to pin the right side back. That is what happened this day, but I kind of like how it ended up looking retro.
{Blouse: Charlotte Russe   Scarf: Nordstrom   Glasses: Ray Ban}
Here is one of the rare occasions where I actually straightened my hair. I love it but my bangs are beyond annoying right now. What do you guys think, should I cut them or let them grow out? By the way, I am pretty sure this is the only red article of clothing I own. Isn't that strange. I never buy red things!
{Sweater: Bloomingdale's    Scarf: Anthropologie}
Don't have time to wash and dry your hair in the morning? This is a great fix! Not only can you skip a step in your morning routine, but you can also look like a 60's diva! I love this look! It is so simple to tie a scarf in your hair, and it instantly changes your look! I felt like a flower child all day long.
{Jacket: Nordstrom   Blouse: Forever 21   Headband: Forever 21}
 From flower child, to Jackie O. To say I like to mix up my style would be an understatement. i think I might have style ADD. Is that a real thing? I absolutely love the Chanel-like qualities of this jacket. And how could a girl not feel lady-like with a flower in her hair?
 {Scarf: Vintage   Sweater: Target}
Oh look! Another top bun! You guys might know this buy now, but I have a lot of hair, which means it takes a LONG time to do anything to it. So, when I saw this bun tutorial, I was pretty much set for life. It is easy and classic! Don't be surprised if you see it pop up again in this post.
 {Top: Forever 21   Vest: Forever 21}
My name is Kai, and today I was an 80's rocker! (with glasses?) This is such an awesome statement look! I kept the hair kind of simple and messy because I am wearing sequined shoulder pads for goodness sakes! I am pretty sure it is a rule somewhere that says "don't let anything distract from your sequin shoulder pads"
{Blouse: Forever 21   Earrings: Pink Zone}
 Sometimes you need to take the fuss out of your wardrobe, and opt for a more relaxed look. Simple hair? Check. Relaxed menswear shirt? Check. But make sure if you opt for a more relaxed look, that you make one glam statement, to keep it from looking frumpy. I chose to add some oversized earrings to add a little glamour.
{Blouse: Pink Zone   Pants: Forever 21}
Yes I am wearing red pants. That is all I have to say on that.
{Glasses: Ray Ban   Blouse: Forever 21   Scarf: Coldwater Creek}
There is that top bun I told you would pop up again. I am actually surprised it only showed up twice! My mom just bought me this scarf and I love it! It is a linen material, so it will be perfect for summer! And how great is that aqua color? Thanks Mom!
Oh yeah. I am a sports fan! So on big games, I gotta represent for my teams! Don't worry, it is only casual Friday! Gooooo Lakers!!!!

So there you have it. I hope I could inspire your work attire, or at the very least make you laugh a little. Either way I hope you guys have a great week at the office! (Or school, or whatever you do during the week?)

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! AND so stylish. I want your wardrobe. I am awful when it comes to dressing for work. I refuse to wear dresses (there are gross guys that I work with and it creeps me out to show my legs to them) If only I had more motivation at 630am...LOL. <3
