Blogs to Love

So I have add a little more structure to my blog, starting with a new Monday Feature:
There are so many great blogs out there in the bloggerverse, and I love reading each and every one of them. If you are anything like me, you love it when blogs feature new blogs that you don't know about yet! So, every Monday I will do just that. I am featuring a new blog that I love, and hopefully you will too!

Todays feature is....
Inspired Design "Your daily source for fabulous"

This beautiful blog is written by Debby, a native of Boston, and a serious eye for all things interior design. I check this blog daily for all her wonderful design ideas and inspiration. I was lucky enough to get an interview with Debby, to ask her what makes Inspired Design tick.

What inspired you to start blogging?
"I started blogging by accident. I never planned to start a blog and never even read a blog in my life. I was bored and surfing the web for home decor when I stumbled upon some interior design blogs and become so intrigued I started to play around with blogger just out of curiosity. Before I knew it Inspired Design was born."

Why is interior design important to you?
"My love of interior design started with the purchase of our first home. I was so thrilled that we had a house of our own and just really wanted to make it a sanctuary for my family. It allows me to channel my creativity and I am happiest when I am
  doing something creative."

Where do you look for inspiration for interior design trends?

"Blogs have so much inspiration!  Travel always inspires me. It's wonderful to experience different cultures and I always want to incorporate my travels into my decor. My favorite interior designer is Stephen Shubel."

Who are your top three fashion icons, and why?
"Audrey Hepburn ... no explanation needed! I really admire Zooey Deschanel because she marches to her own beat and I think it's boring to just follow every trend, it's much more interesting to have your own unique style. I love Cameron Diaz
for her laid back approach to style."

What is your favorite color palette of the moment, and why?

"I am loving yellow and gray at the moment. I have seen a lot of in my hours of scouring the internet for my blog and it just really speaks to me. It is different then what I would usually be drawn to, and I think that is why I am so enamored with it. My design aesthetic is always changing and evolving."
If you could splurge on one fabulous interior design item, what would it be?

"I would splurge on an antique reproduction Sophia bed from EloquenceThe style is Louis XV Corbeille and it's simply stunning."

Do you have any advice for fellow bloggers?
"Post every day and visit lots of blogs. Giveaways...readers love them! There are a lot of blogs out there doing the same thing, make yourself unique, inject your personality and try different things to see what works for you. You will find what
  your readers will respond to."

If you could be animal what would it be, and why?
"I am such a big dog lover, (I own two)! With that said...I would be a furry pooch. After all, they have the life...sleep, eat and belly rubs!"

I would just like to thank Debby for letting me her interview her, and feature Inspired Design on my blog! I hope you guys got to understand Debby a little more, and get excited for a new great blog to check out! And by the way, did you check out that Sophia Bed???
Hello fabulous!!

Until Next Time. :)
